The Area 

Famous for its fresh water springs and laid back way of life, Lapta is a sprawling traditional village that is located approximately 9 miles west of Kyrenia. There is a regular bus service from the village into central Kyrenia. Lapta is backed by the Besparmark Mountain range and offers some of the most spectacular sea and mountain views. The village and surrounding area has much to offer in the way of restaurants and bars and of course the nearby Lapta “Strip” where hotels and bars have a regular entertainment programme for all to enjoy.
